Radial gate is a device used for controlling the flow of water over spillways or into canals by having the upstream face curved in the form of an arc the center of which is at the center of the gate hinge. The supporting hinge of the supporting arm is located at the center of the circle, and the gate rotates around the supporting hinge when opening and closing.
It is also composed of three parts: the gate door part, the gate slot embedded parts and the opening and closing machinery.
It has the advantages of simple structure, small opening and closing force, and good water flow conditions.
The radial gate used to regulate and modulate the flow in power plants or irrigation work.
